Categories & eligibility

  • Under-17 (KU-17 Male/Female)

Time control

  • Rapid chess, 25 minutes + 10 seconds increment per move (25m + 10d)

Playing format

  • Swiss system, 8 rounds

What to bring

  • Players with the white pieces must provide chess boards and chess clocks

Eligibility

  • Must arrive on time
  • Dress neatly and politely
  • Under-17, Under-13, and Under-9 categories must include a Birth Certificate or School Report/Diploma/Child Identity Card (KIA) as proof of birth date
